UMMATI Learner Outcomes (ULOs) are a set of twelve statements which describe what each UMMATI student will be able to independently use upon their graduation. ULOs have the following characteristics:
- They are overarching (not subject-specific)
- They are performance based (require transfer of understandings, not simply recall)
- They require the use of the Habits of Mind, in combination with academic understandings, knowledge, and skills.
- The ULOs drive all of UMMATI’s curriculum. Every unit of the instruction contains one or more of the ULOs as the long-term transfer goal. Students’ ability to display the SLOs will develop and deepen over time as they progress through courses and grade levels.

UMMATI Learner Outcomes (ULO) are incorporated into our daily curriculum.
ULOs are explained and reviewed with students to ensure that students have a complete understanding of what is expected of them.
ULOs are taught using a variety of methods such as class discussions, stories, journal writing, book reports, lesson plans, curriculum used, awards, presentations, hands-on activities, and field trips.
